Little by little

My clean & jerks still need a lot of work but, considering I only started Olympic lifting four months ago, my snatches are coming along nicely! I could stand to get lower but the speed and technique are definitely getting better! Here’s me at 35kg. I struggled at this weight three weeks ago, but today was easy!

I’m doing my first meet next weekend and so I’m hopeful about getting close to 40kg there!

    1. I hear you! It can definitely be intimidating! I’ll likely never get anywhere close to level 3 or 4 weights because I’m not built for the sport at all, but I really enjoy the challenge and the results! My advice: give it a whirl because you have nothing to lose!! 😁
